Description

PT Harum Energy Tbk, through its subsidiaries, engages in the coal and minerals mining, and logistics and processing activities in Indonesia. The company operates through four segments: Mining Sectors, Rental and Service Sectors, Nickel Smelter Sector, and Other Sectors. It is involved in the general survey, exploration, exploitation, and sale of coal and nickel deposits. The company also engages in the coal shipping and rental of tugboats and barges, as well as provides coal handling and hauling road services. In addition, it is involved in the nickel refining, investment, shipping, trading, and services businesses, as well as invests in coal and nickel mining. It also exports its products to China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Netherlands. The company was formerly known as PT Asia Antrasit and changed its name to PT Harum Energy Tbk in November 2007. The company was incorporated in 1995 and is headquartered in Jakarta Pusat, Indonesia. PT Harum Energy Tbk is a subsidiary of PT Karunia Bara Perkasa.
