Description

SEMITEC Corporation engages in the manufacture and sale of electronic components in Japan and internationally. The company offers temperature sensors, including thermistors; and thermistor probe assemblies for use in office automation, automotive, medical, home and industrial appliances, and standard sensor applications. It also provides IR sensors, such as NC sensors and thermopiles; semiconductor devices comprising Zenamic, voltage and current regulating diode, and power thermistors; and surge absorbers. In addition, the company offers thermal barometric and micro pressure sensors, wind and tactile sensors, narrow view angle thermopile, and thin-film FT thermistor for wire bonding. Its products are used in medical, automotive, office equipment, home appliances, and consumer electronics applications. The company was formerly known as Ishizuka Electronics Corporation and changed its name to SEMITEC Corporation in 2011. SEMITEC Corporation was incorporated in 1958 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
