Hello $SHLX Investors, I had a good run over a year or so in this venture move that brought strong Divvy payouts for me and others.

Personally I feel that we've gotten hosed a bit on the final merger price bc I still believe this stock and its current assets are worth incredibly alot that should be trading closer to $18-$23 on avg on the SP.

Shell is not going to overpay for an investment / stake in SHLX. Their deliberately putting a cap on this stock to make it cheaper.

I will take my earnings and port it into AMZN or Google or even Snapchat or even Uber.

But I'm going to dissolve my position in the very near future and so I hope you all whom staying long til end of year that you get a great SP jump by then!

    GL to ALL!!!

$SHLX Offer Update 7.11:: It appears that according to an article on Seeking Alpha that SHLX will be going private but they'll anticipate paying a much higher premium within 12 months from this date. The article mentions the following:::

Shell Midstream Partners has had terrible stock price results since its 2014 IPO.

The limited partnership must be judged by industry economics.

At present, conditions are such that the company is likely to perform strongly on the market.

The upward trajectory of the stock price means that the company’s general partner and controlling shareholder is likely to have to pay a large premium on its first proposal to take the company private.

Shell Midstream Partners, L.P. (NYSE:SHLX) is likely to go private within the next 12 months, as the energy sector privatizes its midstream limited partnerships. Given the industry's economics at present, the company's share price is on an upward trend that will persist regardless of what happens with its market status. That puts shareholders in a strong position to earn a huge premium on Shell's (SHEL) first proposal. This is a very low-risk opportunity for investors.

In 2022, shareholders received a non-binding proposal from its general partner, Shell Pipeline Company LP, to buy the rest of the company's shares, at $12.89. This is in line with a broader trend of taking MLPs private.

The logic behind MLPs has disappeared in light of the Trump tax cuts, and the incentives for Shell and its peers to reduce costs and earn a healthy yield by bringing MLPs within the corporate umbrella.

Furthermore, Shell can use Shell Midstream Partners to expand production offshore. With general conditions improving, the share price is likely to edge up and Shell will have to up its bid. That will give investors a healthy return on their investment.
The current share price is 10.6% higher than the first proposal. Chevron Corp. (CVX) took Noble Midstream Partners LP private after a second proposal in which they paid a 14.4% premium on their first proposal.

BP plc (BP) took BP Midstream Partners LP private after paying a 13.4% premium on their first proposal. The price has already exceeded 10% of the initial offer, so, to make the deal attractive, it would likely have to exceed those two numbers. At a bare minimum, a second bid would have to be around 15% premium, which would price Shell Midstream Partners at $14.82 per share. Below that, and investors could argue that the share price's upward trend suggests that they would do better holding their shares than selling them.

Check out the article on SeekingAlpha for more information. GL!

Here's my next observation on the market. MSB, many would agree should be spiraling downward however as I've said ad nauseam, the market is frothy w artificial behavior in price action. Look at Apple, it fell around 6% while Walmart fell due to its reported earnings however the market is using this to confirm "suspicion" that we're heading into a Recession. When analysts & institutions believe a story it'll manifest in the market. These actions are "Anemic". Their going in multiple directions devoid of balance sheet or pricing power which mean strong financials that can push inflating prices onto its customers. Think of companies like Home Depot, 3M, Walmart, etc. The issue is that the recent customer data is revealing that they're getting tired of paying these inflated prices. This is creating a reverberating trend of negative activity on the SP. Now, MSB is seen to me as a counter to inflation bc materials, energy and other sectors typically perform better under these conditions. MSB is in a peculiar movement that's been going on for months like many other stocks. Look at Gamestop, its a meme stock but it shouldn't grow sharply. We also have pricing movement that makes utterly no sense. MSB is part of a "gaming" market. That was why I've predicted 6 wks ago it would arrive at $25 sooner than anticipated and it reveals my opinion is true. Look at 5/18. Why in the world, is MSB at $25, when across all sectors were being slammed due to paltry retail numbers this week?? Its outpacing CLF still. Does that make sense? And just say market turns Green, MSB will take the benefits of it and it'll add onto the position which is why I still believe that with everything floating about MSB it'll get to $27 by Mid June. Its just a bet. But I would say, pick your space bc the uncertainty will ravage this market for awhile. My suggestion to combat Inflation is buying Dividend stocks in the REITs or Energy sectors like $SHLX, $ORC, $AGNC, and more. But GL to All!!!

We have all seen what happened to $BPMP - revised the offer to close the deal. As a result, the stock went up from $13 to $19.

Same thing will happen for $SHLX - $13 to $19 to close the deal.
